Many of your Ogden neighbors have experienced full recovery with the help of Total Health Chiropractic.

I began to have headaches and hip pain about 10 years ago. I had gone to other chiropractors who recommended treatment for my spine but there was always something lacking in my treatment program. Dr Annis has helped me reduce my pain but has also taken the time to give me recommendations of ways to improve my overall health including diet and specific exercises for my unique condition. I have noticed overall improvements in my health. I have less pain, more energy and a lot less stomach problems. Since I started care I have also been involved in a couple of auto accidents and chiropractic has been very helpful in helping me recover form those injuries.

I came to see Dr. Annis following an auto accident. I was suffering from terrible pain in my neck. I came in on Saturday in terrible pain, and I couldn't even move my neck. By Tuesday I was feeling much better and by Friday I felt 100% back to normal. Thank you Dr. Annis. You helped make my visit to Utah pain free.

Monica Asimokopoulas

I had terrible leg and heel pain for over eight months I had been to the foot doctor and he gave me celebrex but it did not help. I came to Dr. Annis on the recommendation of a friend and I really did not know if it would help. I had an open mind though to give it a try.. He treated me with acupuncture and deep tissue massage and the results have been amazing. After only about 1 month I have no pain. It is incredible. I would definitely recommend anyone suffering or in pain to try Dr. Annis.

What is Whiplash Injury and how concerned should I be?

Whiplash refers to an injury of the neck that is the result of a sudden excessive force that causes the neck and head to jerk forward and then backward or vice versa, such as in a auto crash. The injury typically affects muscles, discs, nerves, ligaments, and tendons in the delicate structure of the neck. It can also occur in contact sports, other activities, or work accidents that might involve a sudden impact.

Although whiplash is a common injury experienced by millions of Americans every year, it can result in structural damage that is difficult to detect and correct. If not properly diagnosed and treated, these injuries can undermine the structural balance of the body and set off a "domino effect" that can exacerbate over time producing a wide variety of symptoms from headache and extremity pain or numbness, to loss of mobility or even mental function

  Symptoms of Whiplash Injury

While each person will experience symptoms differently, any of the following could indicate a whiplash injury:

  • Pain and stiffness in the neck
  • Shoulder pain
  • Pain or numbness in arm/s or hand/s
  • Lower back pain
  • Dizziness
  • Blurred vision
  • Ringing in the ears
  • Irritability
  • Lapse in memory
  • Sleeplessness
  • Fatigue
  • Lack of concentration
